Waldon, I haven't noticed that many athletes wear them. Not saying you're wrong, just saying I havent noticed. I was never under the impression that they were worn as that - simply a wristband. I figured that if somebody wanted to fork out and buy one, they did it under the belief that the powerband would enhance their balance etc etc. I'm comparing it to something like a sweatband; they usually arent worn because they look good, they are worn because they serve a function. So in this case I figured the band isnt being worn because it may look good, its being worn to serve a function, therefore im thinking that sam is being a bit of a strange one. And that brings me back to my first post. You and mty10 have clearly changed my mind on it though...I guess people do wear them for the simple sake of that they want to wear them. It's really a non-issue to me. I just made an observation which made me curious, so I posted something small to see if anybody could shed some light. mty10 came up with a good point and pretty much settled it. So lets just leave it at that. No need for beef (except for in a literal sence, im hungry as)

I noticed he's wearing a powerbalance wrist band. Does anybody else think thats a bit strange? I thought they were reserved for the gym junkies and posers, not people who actually know what they are doing. Because we all know the powerbands do nothing.
